Production Coordinator:

Responsibilities:

Coordinate different aspects of product campaigns relevant to Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing. As a typical production program the operation includes equipment preparation, document readiness, oversight of campaign start-up and operations teams, inventory availabilities, etc. Arrange and organize detailed training to manufacturing associates as and when necessary. Participate on interdepartmental team meetings on projects and processes related for meeting production objectives. Complete all assignments and projects in a timely manner. Ensure cGMP documents have been updated to reflect current processes and methods directly related to manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible to communicate with the supervisors to delegate projects or individual assignments and follow-up to insure that projects are implemented within the schedule. Based on the prior experience this individual should be able to use proven methods to resolve production related immediate problems. This individual should have capability to implement process improvements. This individual should also have the capability to develop project plans and communicate expectations to team members. The candidate should participate in staff-level meetings. This individual shall also have the capability to motivate the team members to improve the performance of the overall process.

Requirements:

This individual should have minimum an AA or BS/BA in life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, or equivalent degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in biopharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment. The person who will be holding this position needs to have strong interpersonal communication skills as well as a problem solving attitude. Also needs to have demonstrated ability to work efficiently in multi-disciplinary teams. This individual should have fundamental, working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), quality assurance concepts, quality systems, and safety procedure, validation of equipment and analytical techniques. This individual should have familiarity with floor operations, cGMPs, contingency planning and prioritization of production procedures in muti-product manufacturing environment as well as an understanding of OSHA Safety Requirements, and Environmental Waste Treatment Regulations for the entire plant operation. Pleasant communication, strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills are required as well as strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
